Hearts of Iron 4

Hearts of Iron 4, a game for anyone to play. Namely, anyone who enjoys history or like me enjoys rewriting it. With HOI4 one can take any of the allied countries or Axis countries and lead them through WWII. With this, you can follow the course of history and as Germany Take Austria through the Anschluss and take the Sedantland from the Czechs and lead an invasion of Poland and go through with Operation Barbarossa just as history tells us happened. You can also oppose Hitler and allow for the return of Kaiser Wilhelm the Second. The former great leader of the German Empire and lead Germany against the Bolshevist. Or you can still be Hitler and just be smarter with the war. Take Africa with the help of your Italian allies. You can play the UK and allow the King to marry Wallis Simpson and not abdicate as we know happened and focus down the only threat to the Royal Navy. The Italians and the Regia Marina. You can lead as I’ve said any of these major or minor countries and change history. Obviously there is no holocaust to worry about enacting or the famous German order to kill all the Commissars of the Russian Army but one can still lead these nations and ideologies against the other and change the course of history. I always play Germany and as with our own history wait to call in Italy while I clean up France and the Low countries and proceed to take the Baltic and Balkans states that refuse to allow it. Around this time I invade Turkey just as I call in my Italian brethren who have had almost a year extra to prepare their army for the forthcoming war. As we take over North Africa and Turkey, I am able to take control of the vital oil supply just as I’m starting to run out of it. With North Africa secure and the Italians pushing into southern Africa, I turn my attention to Operation Sea Lion and prepare to invade the USSR. As Sea Lion draws to a close I invade Russia. From here it can go multiple ways but I’ll leave it here.
